Our Work

Etilaatroz Foundation supports independent journalism and public-interest reporting on Afghanistan, with an emphasis on investigative reporting, fact-based coverage, and fact-checking.

Investigative Journalism

We produce in-depth investigative reporting on governance, corruption, human rights, and other issues affecting Afghan society. Our work is based on original reporting, document analysis, and field-based evidence, and seeks to document abuses and hold those in power to account.

Reporting

We provide ongoing coverage of political, social, and economic developments related to Afghanistan. Our reporting emphasizes accuracy, context, and clarity, ensuring that developments are documented and accessible to a broad audience.

Fact-Checking

We fact-check public claims and address misinformation and disinformation through Sanjah. Our fact-checking is based on verifiable evidence, open-source information, and transparent methodology, with the aim of strengthening the credibility of public information.

Collaborative Investigations

We work with international media organizations to produce cross-border investigations. These collaborations combine local reporting with global platforms, helping bring wider attention to developments in Afghanistan.

Training

We support journalists through training, mentorship, and collaborative reporting. Our work focuses on strengthening investigative skills, ethical standards, and the capacity to report under restrictive conditions.
